"Footrot Flats" - the Musical

 A fantastic opportunity to be a part of a cultural icon so prevalent in my youth. I used to read the Murray Ball comic strips at a friends house (he had the entire set) and loved all the characters. It has been a blast getting to bring farmer, Wallace "pine tree" Footrot to life, alongside a fantastic bunch of actors at the Onewhero Theatre

I've been busy the last month with two pieces of community theater. It's been a long time since I last was on the stage and this was a great refresher.

"Misdemeanor" - a play by Terry Beatson
The story of a girl whose misdemeanour turns out to be the pathway to her success.

"The Last of the recognised Batsmen" - a play by Charles Jordan 
Des's funeral was yesterday and his cricket team agreed that this game was for him. Some of the team are taking it more seriously than the others...

The underground station - a show-reel piece

Throughout 2013, and continuing to this date, I attend acting classes at the Howick Little Theater. It is there that I work to both gain confidence and the skills I need to approach auditions and work in these films when given the chance.
My fellow students are a fantastic resource to practice with. Classmate Donna Botha worked on this short showreel piece one evening before class...
