Perhaps it was my Latin teacher who was producing the show, perhaps the comments from some friends who had been part of the prior year's production of 'Pippin', or maybe it was simply the urging from some internal need to perform... but I found myself at my first ever audition for a stage show. The audition was daunting and it was the first time I had sung alone. Something must have gone right as I end up in the chorus.The show was nerve-wracking and a huge time sink... but when it was done... I was hooked. I knew I would be wanting more of the buzz that only performing could provide.
