A year after my first acting role and I had the opportunity to try-out for a solo role. I was a nervous kid and only scraped in with a minor part as the Tin Lion (Roar-squeek). I performed this role shockingly and I got the impression that our director sort-of gave up on trying to get blood out of the stone that I was.
None-the-less, the experience was fantastic. The cast attended a camp to rehearse and then we took the show on the road on a tour of primary schools. A memorable, if not a very impressive experience.
